Section 4: Description of Supplemental Outreach Initiatives


These initiatives are ongoing and will be improved or modified as necessary if results are not satisfactory.


1.                  Training and promotion of employees within the company.

2.                  GHBI actively works with Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and Southern Careers to educate their key personnel in the needs and requirements for positions in within our company.

3.                  GHBI actively participates with Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi in their Intern Placement Program to assist graduating student in learning skills necessary to work in the broadcast industry.

4.                  All company employees are trained to prevent discrimination in the work environment and are encouraged to actively seek possible recruits when a position is vacant.
